Hi, my honeys! Let's face it--my home is always in progress haha! I can't help myself sometimes and decide to do a huge overhaul on a room I've already made over. However, this time, the change in our main bedroom was needed. In my efforts to start living with less in our home, I knew our bedroom needed to be massively decluttered and simplified at the very least. Once I started decluttering the space, though, I felt it was time for the vibe of the room to match my current, more minimal and neutral home style! I also wanted to give my husband a room in our home that had no pink in it haha--you're welcome, Ian!
When one of my favorite home brands Serena & Lily reached out to me to collaborate, I just knew the timing was right to go all in on this bedroom makeover! If you're unfamiliar, Serena & Lily is the ultimate luxury home brand! They do specialize in coastal design, but they have so many amazing staple pieces for your home. With such limited space in our small bedroom, I opted for some GORGEOUS new bedding staples from them and a couple accents to add to the space! I was so impressed with the quality of their pieces! Serena & Lily truly has the best luxury bedroom staples!

With my stunning Serena & Lily pieces in hand, it was time to makeover our bedroom! My goal for this space can be summed up in one word: CALM. I love establishing an emotion for a space that I want to makeover. It helps me make design choices, and ultimately, it helps me achieve the feeling I want to have when I spend time in a space. I knew I wanted the room to be all white, and I thought pops of black would really give the room that minimal feel. Also, I wanted to add some much needed elegance to my bedroom!

I started out by painting over the 3/4 dusty pink accent wall with a bright, clean white to match the rest of the white walls in our bedroom! Y'all saw me also do several DIY's in this room including my cane closet doors, window trim, textured wall art, and window pane cabinet hack! I also added TONS of peel and stick wall moulding panels from Luxe Architectural which gives any room a super polished, vintage look and are so easy to apply!
Additionally, I added a new apartment-size tall dresser, some adorable black and cane nightstands, some candle sconces, cute bouclé sphere pillows, a soft new rug, new curtains hung from the ceiling, and a new bed frame! My favorite piece in the room aside from our super soft Serena & Lily bedding is probably my real olive tree that I got from a local plant shop here in Cleveland, Ohio! It just fits in with my minimal theme so well!
