We have had our Samsung Home Appliances Family Hub Fridge in Tuscan Stainless Steel for over a year now, and I thought it would be helpful to update you on our thoughts about it and what features we've been using the most! First off, the refrigerator we selected is the Samsung 22 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door, Counter Depth Refrigerator with 21.5” Touch Screen Family Hub™ in Tuscan Stainless Steel! We needed the lesser depth refrigerator to fit in our space, and I love that they have this fridge in counter depth size as well as a deeper size. We also chose the 4-door French door option because we like having all the different drawers to compartmentalize our food and keep things nice and organized. It's worth noting that you can get the touch screen Family Hub style refrigerator in multiple styles including the 4-door Flex, 4-door French Door Recessed Handles, and a 3-door French door! It's all up to your taste and what style fridge works for you and your family!
The color options are stainless steel, black stainless steel, and our chosen color Tuscan stainless steel! We picked it not only because it was different than anything we'd seen before when it comes to appliances, but we also liked the rosy, bronzy, tone to it and thought it would pair nicely with our warm countertops and blush counter stools! We have plans to eventually replace our other kitchen appliances to match, but since the fridge is the only appliance on that wall, we figured we could get away with having a different color fridge than our other appliances for the time being. It's also worth pointing out that all of the finishes are finger print resistant--amen!
Here are the features about our new Samsung Family Hub fridge that we've used and enjoyed the most in the last year:
FlexZone drawer: a flexible storage drawer with four different temperature settings and an adjustable Smart Divider to stay organized. We love this drawer so much for our cheeses, meats, and other sandwich supplies!
3 built-in cameras to see inside your fridge without opening the door and from wherever you are by using an app on your phone. I can't tell you how many times I've used the app to check the cameras while I'm at the grocery store to see if we are out of eggs or coffee creamer! It's such a modern, boujee feature, and I'm here for it!
You can upload photos to display on your fridge and even write grocery lists and reminder notes! I love to put new art on our fridge every season, so this is fun for me!
You can enter in what you're putting in the fridge and the expiration date, so it will warn you when food is about to expire. I need to be better about using this for all our food, but I do make a point to add eggs and milk and their expiry dates into the fridge.
You can stream music from apps like iHeartRadio and Spotify. I am never not playing music from our fridge. It's great to have that speaker in our kitchen to play music while we are cooking or cleaning up!
It's also worth noting that our ice machine works like a charm and we get cubed or crushed ice very quickly.
What we've probably enjoyed most about the Samsung Family Hub fridge is probably all the space it has! We never run out of space to put things, which I know can be super helpful for large families and storing food for the holidays! Even the freezer has deep lower sections and a top section for storage. We have yet to own a fridge so roomy, modern, and functional! If you ask me, it is 1000% worth the splurge, especially since Samsung Home Appliances does financing deals all the time! I find that it actually has added so much value to our kitchen in the sense that it does more than just keep our food cold! We use it all the time for so many other functions, and that is pretty neat for a fridge!
